Our Story

On April 14th, 2024 our lives changed when our 2-year old daughter, Octavia drowned on a family trip to a waterpark. Luckily, her father, Taylor was able to perform High-Quality CPR on Octavia until her dark as charcoal eyes opened once again. Since, Octavia has made a full recovery and our smart, silly, spunky beautiful girl is still here making the world a better place and our family whole. We believe that we owe it to the world to share our story and these life-saving skills with everyone.

At Octavia's Promise our mission is to provide honest, high-quality first-aid and CPR education to everyone by raising awareness, training, and promoting crucial life-saving skills in our community.

We also hope that our story can leave a positive impact on those around us and through education, training, and promoting awareness of not only CPR but also safe swimming practices - we can accomplish this goal. If we positively affect even just one life, it will all be worth it.
